This is a list of the things that I have found helpful in sewing - products, books and anything else that has come in handy.
Products
Pattern Hook with Cord
Invaluable for hanging paper patterns. Far better than dealing with string or any of the other alternatives.
Pattern Paper (Brown)
I use a roll of brown 80 GSM craft or wrapping paper (1200 x 235m). It is machine rough finished on both sides.
Pattern Paper (Backups)
I use Trucolour Wide Format Matt Paper that is the exact width of the plan printer/scanner at my local Mailboxes Etc (i.e., 914mm x 45m). It is 100 GSM.
Pattern Punch
Use to make the perfect sized hole on all of the paper pattern pieces at once so that hang beautifully from the Pattern Hook.
